The Early
Childhood Program follows the guidelines set by the Diocese
of Raleigh. Our curriculum is thematic based, and center
based. Centers create an environment of experimental
learning based on themes or units. The themes will change
throughout the year. We will be working in small groups and
whole groups to meet standards for the year. Most of our
lessons will be hands-on activities to ensure development in
all areas.
All activities and lessons will be based on four major
components of study. They are as follows:
- Spiritual
- Physical (fine and gross motor skills)
- Cognitive (receptive and expressive skills)
- Personal and social

Jennifer Lynch
Early Childhood
I am so excited to be teaching the early childhood
program this year at St. Paul Education Center. My name
is Ms. Lynch. I went to East Carolina University
where I studied and graduated with a degree in
Elementary Education. Go Pirates! While at ECU I earned
an extra degree in Reading.
I have worked in kindergarten as well as second grade.
Reading was always my favorite thing to do in school. I
especially love children's books and look forward to
reading a lot this year. Hands-on art based activities
are also one of my favorites. I attended Catholic school
as a child and am very excited to be back in the
Catholic school community.Email: JTLynch
