| Physical Education
is an integral component of total the Catholic education.
Activities offer an opportunity for students to attain
success and self-esteem in a positive manner. Students will
respect themselves and others, display good sportsmanship,
recognize that participation in physical activity provides
life-long health benefits, and realize that personal and
social behavior is necessary for productive physical
activity. Physical Education combines instruction,
interaction, and fun into the full scope of our year. |
Mrs. Hayes
Physical Education teacher
Now entering my 20th year here at St. Paul, I consider
myself "THE OLE MULE" of the school; just lead me to the
barn and I'll get there!! Born and bred in Wilson,
NC...Louisburg College, Atlantic Christian College...Tri
Sigma Sorority...married 1967- JUST CELEBRATED 40th
ANNIVERSARY TO THE SAME OLE MAN...2 grown daughters...1
"PRECIOUS" granddaughter that is the love of my life...I
love: Hot Dogs...Fried Chicken...Grits and gravy...pecan
pie...almond joy...the smell of fresh cut
grass...magnolias...summer breezes...the beach...the
laughter of my children catching lighting bugs...the old
Methodist hymn-Holy, Holy, Holy...God's grace. My goal
here at St. Paul is and has always been to encourage
each child to do his/her best. I believe that one can
have fun and learn at the same time. Through this
encouragement, I would hope that each child will find
the love of sports that will lead to a lifetime of
happiness. My prayer each day on the way to work is to
touch a child's heart. Oh, by the way, my name is Mrs.
Hayes and I am your Physical Education teacher. And...I
love the Duke Blue Devils!!! |
