Bill Rogers
Eighth Grade teacher
Mr. Rogers has traveled quite a number of trails in life
and each and every one ultimately has led him to the
teaching arena. In high school, he played several sports
and earned his Eagle Scout award. After high school, he
enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a Special Forces
medic on an A-Team. Following his enlistment in the
Army, he attended Western Carolina University and earned
a BA and MA in English. He has served as an infantry
officer in the N.C. Army National Guard for almost
twenty years and served in Iraq in 2004. He has taught
at the high school, middle school, and college levels.
Mr. Rogers is married, has two lovely daughters, and
enjoys playing classical guitar and banjo.Email:
